| Culprit | The Misfits REPEAT OFFENDER! |

This suitably tasteless song about the late Ms Monroe (whose last film the band were named after) shows that The Misfits didn't learn from their mistake with "Rat Fink". Indeed they clearly chose to build on it, because arguably "Who Killed Marilyn" contains two gear changes: one in between the repeated choruses, and the other as the, er, solo kicks in at the end of this clip.

I'm a proud owner of The Misfits' four-CD set which comes packaged in a superb coffin-shaped box. It contains no fewer than three renditions of "Who Killed Marilyn" this one is the first of the versions on disc three, which I feel has the most effective gear change.
