I'm not sure why this song is titled "Wily Coyote" rather than "Wile E. Coyote", but presumably it's either a mistake or it has something to do with avoiding the wrath of cartoon lawyers. Either way, it's got more rock than Monument Valley. I've had the pleasure of seeing a number of Pocket gigs, and I can confirm that it's even more kickass when performed live.
Despite being an excellent song, however, it is marred by a quick-'n'-dirty truck driver's gear change, which appears just after the end of the blistering guitar solo. It's particularly needless since, with a full length of only 2:30, "Wily Coyote" could hardly be accused of running out of steam. Grudgingly, though, I concede that there's an unusually interesting element to this, as it's a rare case of a gear change in a minor key.

Elsewhere on the Pocket album is a song called "WC68", which mainly consists of what might be described as a "surf-waltz" version of the theme from "Wily Coyote". Mercifully, however, there's no sign of the gear change from the fast version.
