| Culprit | Michael Bolton REPEAT OFFENDER! |
| Title | How Am I Supposed To Live Without You |
| Year | 1989 |
| Written by | Michael Bolton and Doug James |
| Submitted by | Siegfried Baboon |
Perhaps Michael Bolton thinks that by burying a gear change in the middle of a guitar solo, he can somehow sneak it past me. Not so it still makes me choke and splutter. And with its wailing guitar and earnest lyrical soul-searching, this is so bad that I couldn't even let the clip run till the chorus returns.

Michael Bolton and Doug James originally co-wrote this song for Laura Branigan, who had a hit with it in 1983. Whilst her version contains some bad chord sequences very bad chord sequences it doesn't actually contain a gear change. So hats off to Michael Bolton for identifying the missing ingredient in his own song.
