Jimmy Ruffin's heartfelt "talkie bit" is rudely interrupted by this gear change. There's not a lot you can say about it, other than to concur with his sad cry of "ohhhh" when it happens. That's the sound of a man retrospectively reading the small print of a contract he has already signed, realising that he is now legally obliged to change key.
