It's hardly fair to accuse Eric Clapton of a lazy truck driver's gear change here, and I'm certainly not accusing Robert Johnson of anything (apart from selling his soul to the devil, of course). It's part of Slowhand's deliberate live trick of shouting new keys at the rest of the band to see if they can keep up but since it's the same structure in each case, this technically counts as a succession of gear changes, of which the most "standard" appears in this clip.
