The jangly percussion on this song always entertains me as much as its distinctive melody. But it's all let down by this horribly workaday gear change, which is one of the worst examples of just going up for the sake of it. For something to do. Because he can. Because if he didn't do it, somebody else would. But as Dominic Pedler notes in his "Muso's introduction" article, Bobby did it far more stylishly with "Take Good Care Of My Baby".
