This track from Avenged Sevenfold's City of Evil album is a relatively rare example of a metal-based gear change; although there is apparently an army of Avenged Sevenfold fans out there who regard City of Evil as a corporate non-metal sellout due to the less hardcore style of the amusingly named front man, M. Shadows.
Even though you can sort of hear this one coming, the actual moment when you realise they've all gone up a key takes you by surprise, and is certainly far more evil than any of the nonsense about the devil and the apocalypse that they're banging on about.
