This is, let's face it, a pretty dire slab of soft rock. But hey, that gear change is so good they did it twice! I've included both here with, as usual, a rather half-arsed edit in the middle to cut the file size down a bit. The first time, it's rather unexpected, since it doesn't anticipate a stepped-up chorus, instead introducing the next verse in the new key. But the second time, although basically the same arrangement, it's that little bit more offensive, due to a few extra drums and the fact that it's just a blatant "same shit, different key" effect.

I was rather surprised to discover that Air Supply are "still very much in the music business", and at the time of writing (April 2003) they've even got a new album coming out. And there was me thinking they'd disbanded back in the 1980s to become chiropodists or something like that.
